What to pack for a holiday at the Algarve
Heute ist es schon so weit und wir fliegen nach Portugal an die wunderschöne Algarve. Ich bin schon total aufgeregt und freue mich sehr darauf, ein paar Tage auszuspannen. Wobei komplett auf Arbeit verzichten werde ich nicht, da ich einige Projekte in Portugal habe. More soon! :)
Doch was kommt in den Koffer und was brauche ich überhaupt für einen Urlaub an der Algarve? Wenn ihr an die Algarve denkt, dann fallen euch bestimmt als erstes die Worte Strand, Sommer und Sonne ein oder? Das stimmt alles, aber man kann so viel mehr dort machen, als "nur" am Srand liegen. Sportliche Menschen (zu denen ich mich nur bedingt zähle haha) können wandern, Kayak fahren und SUP. Mittags und am Abend könnt ihr außerdem super shoppen. Es ist gut sich schon vorher zu überlegen was man genau machen will. :) Bei uns wird es wohl eine Mischung aus allem. Auf Instagram und Facebook werde ich euch mitnehmen.

Buf of course I will work too, as I have some exciting projects.:) But the main purpose is to relax. And oh my god I cant't wait to show you the amazing hotel! I'm sure you will love it too. <3
But what will I pack for my holiday at the Algarve? And what should you keep in mind when packing for a holiday at the Algarve?
When you think about the Algarve, the things which come into your mind may be the beach, sun and summer. That is all right, but the Algarve has so much more to offer. You can go hiking, kayaking, SUP and shopping. So before packing your suitcase you should think about what you want to do there.
1. Bikinis
Ganz klar ohne Bikinis und Badanzüge geht nichts, auch im April nicht. Laut Wetterbericht erwarten uns angenehme 23 Grad. Der ein oder andere Tag wird sicherlich am Pool verbracht.
In meinem Bikini-Trend Guide für 2017 habe ich schon viele schöne Modell in jeder Preisklasse gezeigt und euch die dazugehörigen Marken vorgestellt. Hier nochmals alle Bikinis im Überblick. :)
Okay, you can't fly to the Algarve without any bikini. The beaches are amazing and the water color is insane! I'm sure you will be speechless! If the weather forecast is right we get every day 23 degrees. Of course, I packed some. You may remember my bikini guide for 2017. I showed you my favorite bikinis and fashion brands. 2. Kleider
Anfang dieser Woche habe ich mir extra für diesen Urlaub einige Kleider über Asos bestellt. Leider gab es Probleme bei der Lieferung weshalb sie erst am Montag ankommen. Wirklich schade, doch die Laune lass ich mir davon nicht vermiesen. Es gibt wirklich schlimmeres. Ein kurzer Besuch bei Mango und Vero Moda hat dann auch wieder alles wettgemacht. Die Kleider zeige ich euch trotzdem. Außerdem werdet ihr sie trotzdem bald hier auf dem Blog finden. :)
Some days ago I ordered some dresses at Asos, but unfortunately they did not arrive in time. There was a problem with the delivery. Of course, I wasn't really happy about that, but hey I went to Mango and Vero Moda and found some great alternatives. But you will find the other dresses also soon here on the blog.
3. Hosen und Röcke
Kurz oder doch lang? Gerade im April/Mai würde ich eine gute Mischung aus Beidem mitnehmen. Abends kann es auch an der Algarve schon frisch sein. Ich habe einige kurze und lange Hosen aus fließendem Stoff eingepackt.
Bei den Röcken habe ich hingegen zu den kurzen Jeansröcken gegriffen. Sie sind und bleiben mein Favorit. :)
Short or better long trousers? Go with both! Especially in the evening (even in summer) it can be really cold. Therefore, I packed both and I'm sure that this was a good decision.
Apart from that I also packed some denim skirts. I love to wear them and they are totally en vogue in 2017.
4. Schuhe
Ein kleiner Koffer, viele Schuhe? Wohl eher nicht. :D Gerade für Kurztrips reise ich immer nur mit Handgepäck. Ist günstiger plus man nimmt nicht zu viel Unnötiges mit. So auch heute. Deswegen musste ich mich entscheiden und nahm nun vier Paare mit. Für jeden Anlass ein paar Schuhe: Flip Flops für den Strand, Loafers für einen Stadtbummel, Sandalen mit Bastabsatz für das Abendessen und ein paar Sandalen für zwischendurch.
One hand luggage and many shoes! :D The struggle is real! For short trips, I prefer to travel with hand bag only. First, it's so much cheaper and the second reason is that you avoid to take too much stuff with you. :) I packed one pair for the beach, one for the evening, one for a day in the city and another one just in case.
5. Oberteile
Auf gar keinen Fall kann ich auf Off-shoulder Teile verzichten. Dafür war ich auch extra noch bei NA:KD shoppen. Ein paar Blusen und T-Shirts noch, dann ist die Grundausstattung fertig.
Für den Abend habe ich außerdem noch etwas wärmere Pullover eingepackt. Übrigens: selbst im Sommer kann es abends an der Algarve frisch werden. Just to keep in mind!
Guilty! I couldn't resist and had to put my off-the-shoulder tops and blouses into the suitcase. At NA:KD I found a really cute black and white blouse.
I also added some shirts, blouses and sweaters (you will need them in the evening).
Und sonst? Sonnenbrille, Sonnenhut, Sonnencreme und filigraner Schmuck sind die Essentials die auf jeden Fall noch mitmüssen. Dazu kommt noch das Blogger-Equipment (Kamera, Speicherkarten, Handy und Laptop) und schon ist der Koffer voll.
