"Okay, ich brauche eine Pause!" Seitdem ich meinen Blog vor zwei Jahren gestartet habe (die Zeit vergeht!), habe ich wöchentlich immer mindestens zwei Beiträge online gestellt, egal wie stressig es manchmal in der Uni war. Ein Hoch auf den Kaffee. :D
Doch in der letzten Woche habe ich einfach gemerkt, das ich eine kleine Pause brauche. Das Bloggen ist immer noch meine größte Leidenschaft, und an Ideen mangelt es nicht, schon eher an der Zeit zu Reisen. :) Ich habe die Pause gebraucht um sie mit meiner Mama zu verbringen und mir ein paar Gedanken zu Thema Bloggen zu machen. Es hat mich in letzter Zeit einfach immer mehr genervt, dass auf Instagram (vor allem in Deutschland) bei den Follower extrem nachgeholfen wird, dies aber von Firmen und auch Medien völlig ignoriert wird. Quantität rules. Blogger xy erscheint in der InStyle, ein anderer in der Cosmopolitan. Sie seien große Vorbilder. Beide haben nachgeholfen und innerhalb von drei Wochen sich einfach 10.000 Follower (ja, offensichtlich weil diese Follower nur ein Bild haben und ausländische Namen) dazu gekauft. Und dann gibt es noch diese Bots die eingesetzt werden. Das frustriert natürlich.
"Okay, I can't do this anymore I need a break". Since I started this blog two years ago (wow, time passes by so fast) I never took a break. Even during some hard times at university. But thanks to tons of coffees I managed it to post at least two blogposts per week. :D
Blogging is still my biggest passion and I have so many ideas what to post. The only thing which I need more is time for traveling. :D
But why did I take a break? First of all, to spend the time with my mum. And the other reason had to do with the "Follower Buying Mentality" (especially here in Germany) on Instagram. I was so upset that bloggers and influencer buy follower. Two (now) big German Bloggers where lately shown in two magazines. They were highlighted as the new Instagram generation. But when you look at their Instagram figures you soon find out, that their followers aren't real. Sorry but thousands of fake accounts with only one picture and strange names are more than obvious. And that's not the only thing. Many bloggers and influencer use bots that automatically comment and like pictures based on hashtags. I was so frustrated.
Umso mehr freut es mich, dass es Unternehmen gibt, die selektieren und sich die Zahlen genau anschauen. Und ich bin super happy und stolz euch demnächst einige tolle Projekte mit tollen Marken zeigen zu können. :) Denn ganz ehrlich, warum sollte ich 100k haben, wenn 50k gekauft oder über Bots generiert worden sind? Ich finde immer noch: Ehrlichkeit zahlt sich am Ende aus. Ich hoffe das verstehen bald alle.
But there is one movement that makes me really happy and makes me believe that hard work counts at the end. Many brands start to check the follower and likes. Why should I have 100k and 50k are fake?
I'm so grateful that I can show you in the next weeks some amazing projects I have been working on lately.
"My Hamburg Summer Uniform". Naja, vom Sommer kann man hier in Hamburg nicht wirklich sprechen. In den letzten zwei Monaten hat es so gut wie nie über 25 Grad gehabt und von Sonnenschein wollen wir mal besser gar nicht anfangen. :D Mein Sommeroutfit sieht dementsprechend aus: Espadrilles, dünner Pulli, Jeansjacke und Lederhose. Zwiebellook wegen dem ständigen Regen/Sonne/Wind-Wechsel.
War es bei euch besser?
"My Hamburg Summer Uniform". Well, I can't really talk about a great summer here in Hamburg. Most of the time it's super windy and raining. The maximum we get are 25 degrees.
That's why my summer uniform looks a little bit more like a fall uniform: it consists of espadrilles, a sweater, denim jacket and leather trousers.
What about you? How's summer in your town/city so far?
Ab in die Sonne! :) Genug vom schlechten Wetter. Letzten Freitag ging es ab in den Flieger in Richtung Mallorca. 30 Grad und Sonnenschein warteten auf mich und meinen Freund. Ich bin ein großer Mallorca-Fan. Besonders der Osten mit seinen schönen Stränden (Karibik-Feeling) fasziniert mich total. Und es war traumhaft schön. Wir waren jeden Tag am Strand oder im Hotelpool. Das Bild ist in Cala D'or Abends, nach einem traumhaft schönen und entspannten Strandtag entstanden.
Dieses Outfit und alle Details findet ihr übrigens im Laufe des Sonntags am Blog. Seid gespannt. :)
Next stop: summer, sunshine and 30 degrees! :) Last Friday my boyfriend and I finally flew to Spain. Our destination was Mallorca. I love this island a lot, especially the eastern part. It's less crowded than other parts and has the most beautiful beaches.
We spent every day at the beach or at the hotel pool. It was so relaxing! We took this picture in the evening in Cala D'or.

Was gibt es schöneres als sich im kristallblauen und klarem Wasser abzukühlen? Vielleicht noch in den Hotelpool zu springen? :) Alle Infos über ein super tolles Hotel hier an der Ostküste Mallorcas könnt ihr demnächst auf dem Blog nachlesen. Soviel sei verraten, es hat einen Pool, direkten Strandzugang, modernes stylisches Interior das aussieht als stamme es direkt aus einem Interior-Magazin und tolle Zimmer mit Meerblick. Lasst euch überraschen. :)

And last but not least, a little travel update. My next destination will be Salzburg. I will visit my mum and spend some time with here. And then it's finally time for a bigger trip. At the moment we planned to fly to Thailand but this might change. I will soon tell you more.
In between these two, I will travel to Berlin. On the one hand to see my friends, and on the other hand, for an exciting new project.
