FASHION: OKTOBERFEST MUST HAVES

In ein paar Wochen ist es wieder soweit und das Oktoberfest findet in München statt. Aus diesem Grund habe ich mich dazu entschieden schon jetzt einen Oktoberfest-Post mit meinen persönlichen Oktoberfest-Must-Haves zu machen.
Wie ihr wisst, bin ich in Österreich geboren und aufgewachsen. Schon als 6-Jährige hatte ich bereits mein erstes Dirndl. Das war aber bei weitem nicht so modisch und bequem wie die heutigen Dirndln.
Aber zurück zu meinen Oktoberfest-Must-Haves. Seit Lena Hoschek weiß man, dass Dirndln richtig gut aussehen können. Mein Favorit sind kurze Dirndln in Fuchsia, Rosé, Grün oder Blau.
Was unter einem Dirndl auf gar keinen Fall fehlen darf, ist eine weiße Dirndlbluse.
Ein weiterer Klassiker der bei mir auf keinen Fall fehlen darf, ist Schmuck. Am schönsten finde ich Armkettchen mit Edelweiß- und Herzanhängern. Da ich beim Schmuck dem Motto "weniger ist mehr" folge, verzichte ich auf opulente Halsketten. Stattdessen investiere ich in eine schöne Flechtfrisur. Bei den Schuhen setze ich je nach Situation auf Schuhe mit oder ohne Absätzen. Wenn ich weiß, dass ich den ganzen Abend sitzend verbringen werde, trage ich auch gerne Schuhe mit Absätzen. Ansonsten würde ich davon abraten auf dem Oktoberfest hohe Schuhe zu tragen.
Was sind eure Oktoberfest-Must-Haves? Wie steht ihr zu Dirndln?

In a few weeks the so called "Oktoberfest" will finally start in Munich. I therefore decided to share my Oktoberfest-Must-Haves with you.
As some of you already know, I was born and raised in Austria. At the age of six I already owned my first "Dirndl" (Dirndl = traditional dress). But this wasn't that stylish like the ones today and it was really heavy. Since Lena Hoschek, a famous Austrian Designer, everyone in Austria know, that a "Dirndl" can look really good. I especially like short "Dirndl" in fuchsia, rosy, green and blue. One really important thing you shouldn't forget, is to wear a blouse under your "Dirndl".
A lot of people like to wear a lot of jewelry but I follow the motto "less is more".  Altough I'm not wearing opulent necklaces I love braceletts with edelweiss charms. At the "Oktoberfest" you will see many people with beautiful hairstyles. I usually braid my hair.
When you are going to the Oktoberfest you should also care about your shoes and select them carefully. I always recommend flat shoes to people who like to dance and walk around the whole evening and shoes with heel to those who want to sit and chat.
